It's time to introduce a brand new force in drum & bass. After being featured on our various artists album "Nocturna #1" last year with their Verstärkt track, Nottingham duo TEK-DIF arrive on the imprint with their debut EP - Transmute - a colossal entry into the world of forward-thinking electronic music.

The first track; "Glip" - gives us a bold display of what these lads are all about: deep, rolling reece basses and dark, unsettling atmospheres. Underground drum & bass at its finest. Turning the corner, we are met with the creature-like demeanor that is "Hafgufa", slowing down the tempo into a heavyweight 130 BPM stomper. Back in drum & bass territory, "Concussion" brings a no-nonsense attitude to the rollers arena with its clean cut percussion and stark horn synths. For the penultimate track, we are taken to boss-level heights once again with "Hafgufa (Reprise)" - encountering the second track on the release with a faster, energy-charged twist. Last but not least, the title track "Transmute" - encapsulates this obscure voyage with its outstanding chord progression accompanied by a new-age neurofunk vibe.
